Events at Ramster Hall & Garden

Throughout the year, Ramster hosts a series of exciting events. Our events in 2024 include a plant fair, a stunning sculpture exhibition, and a festive Christmas Market. Visitors will also be able to purchase their own Christmas Tree and hand-crafted Festive Wreaths starting in late November.

Ramster Christmas Trees

Available from 23rd Nov 2024

Christmas Trees will be on display outside Ramster Tea House alongside a wonderful collection of handcrafted festive wreaths which are also for sale. A selection of beautiful gifts can be found inside Ramster Tea House.

Ramster Hall Christmas Market

23rd & 24th November 2024

10am until 4pm

Ramster Christmas Market will take place on 23rd and 24th November inside the beautiful Jacobean halls and outside in the courtyard. This year you will find a huge variety of stalls selling a unique collection of locally made gifts including food and drink, beauty products, art, and homewares.

Sorry no dogs allowed in the halls.

Ramster Hall Children's Theatre
Town and Country Mouse

7th December 2024 (11.30am)

Join two friends as they embark on an amazing journey and discover that sometimes new can be exciting, and different can be good! An enchanting story from Aesop's much loved and heart-warming tale told with puppetry, music and magical design, for ages 3+ and their families.

Tickets: £10 each. Family ticket £36 (2 adults and 2 children)

The Plant Fair at Ramster Garden

27th April 2025 10am - 5pm

A collective of specialist nurseries will offer a wide range of locally grown, garden worthy and often unusual plants. This is a great opportunity to buy direct from friendly and approachable growers and get free advice from a resident Plant Doctor.

Surrey Sculpture Exhibition at Ramster Garden

2nd May – 2nd June 2025

10am - 5pm

A collection of inspirational original pieces of sculpture set within a magical woodland setting. The stunning works of art will be staged within the garden, adding further drama to the breath-taking show of over 300 rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias which burst into colour at Ramster throughout spring.

Ramster Embroidery and Textile Art Exhibition 2026

TBC March 10am - 5pm

Ramster Embroidery and Textile Art Exhibition is one of the largest exhibitions of its kind. Over 250 pieces of the finest embroidery and textile art by leading artists from across the country will be on display and for sale within the splendid Ramster Jacobean Hall and the Great Drawing Room.
